Pistons' Marcus Morris: Continues scoring surge in Wednesday's win

Morris recorded 20 points (8-13 FG, 2-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT), four rebounds, three assists, three blocks and one steal across 38 minutes in Wednesday's 121-114 win over the Celtics.

With the Pistons recently losing reserve wing Reggie Bullock to a torn meniscus and fellow backup Stanley Johnson not stepping up like he was expected to in his second season, Morris' playing time has been on the rise of late, with the forward logging 35-plus minutes in three of his past four games. He's been able to average 16.3 points, 4.0 rebounds, 1.3 assists and 1.3 three-pointers per game during that stretch, and while the playing time could remain stable given the lack of attractive wing depth, Morris may sacrifice some offensive production when Reggie Jackson (knee) returns, perhaps as soon as next week.
