Pistons' Reggie Jackson: Won't play Tuesday

Jackson (knee) has been ruled out for Tuesday's game against the Hornets, Aaron McMann of MLive.com reports.

The news comes as no surprise after coach Stan Van Gundy indicated Monday that he does not expect Jackson to return during the Pistons' current, three-game road swing. Detroit travels to Boston on Wednesday before taking on the Hawks in Atlanta on Friday, meaning Jackson's best chance to return could come Sunday, when Detroit returns home to face the Magic. Whenever Jackson, who returned to full practice last week, does return, he'd likely see limited minutes, initially, while working himself back into game shape.
