Carroll (back) participated in morning shootaround and will try to play in Wednesday's action against the Hornets, Josh Lewenberg of TSN reports.
According to Raptors radio play-by-play broadcaster Eric Smith, coach Dwane Casey expects Carroll to suit up and reclaim his starting role at small forward if he plays. Carroll has missed the past two outings due to back soreness, opening up extra minutes for P.J. Tucker in the starting five. Carroll shouldn't be considered a lock for Wednesday's game at this moment, but all signs are pointing to him returning to action.
