Sullinger (foot) won't play in Wednesday's preseason matchup against the Pistons, Chris O'Leary of the Toronto Star reports.

Sullinger has been battling a sore left foot since Oct. 1, and Wednesday will mark his fifth consecutive absence. Coach Dwane Casey indicated that Sullinger may be able to return for Friday's exhibition finale, but noted that the bigger priority is having the big man ready for the regular season opener on Oct. 26. Sullinger is slated to open the season as the Raptors' starting power forward after the team parted ways with Luis Scola over the summer.
