Raptors' Jared Sullinger: Uncertain for final two preseason games

Sullinger (foot) indicated that he's uncertain if he'll play in the Raptors' final two preseason games, scheduled for Wednesday against the Pistons and Friday against the Wizards, Blake Murphy of Raptors Republic reports.

Sullinger said that he's been dealing with a sore left foot since the Oct. 1 preseason opener against the Warriors, when another player stepped on the foot. The big man has missed the Raptors' subsequent four games, but believes he could have played through the injury if it were the regular season. For now, his focus is on regaining conditioning before the season begins, so it's not expected that he'll face limitations once he returns. Sullinger is slated to serve as the Raptors' starting power forward in 2016-17, though he'll likely split the time evenly with top backup Patrick Patterson.
