Rockets' Eric Gordon: Shines off bench for second straight game

Gordon put up 24 points (8-17 FG, 4-9 3Pt, 4-5 FT), two rebounds and one assist across 32 minutes in Tuesday's 120-101 loss to the Jazz.

The Jazz's tight perimeter defense muzzled James Harden for the most part, holding him to 26 points and seven assists on 8-of-23 shooting from the field, but they didn't have an answer for Gordon, who finished as the team's second-leading scorer. Following a brief cold spell early last week, Gordon has turned things around over the last three games, averaging 21.3 points and 4.7 three-pointers per contest while shooting 48.9 percent from the field.
