Rockets' Eric Gordon: Torches Blazers for 26 points Sunday

Gordon tallied 26 points (9-15 FG, 6-9 3Pt, 2-3 FT), five rebounds, four assists and one steal across 30 minutes in Sunday's 130-114 win over the Trail Blazers.

Gordon has rained in 10 three-pointers over the last two games, an encouraging development after he had gone 1-of-11 from behind the arc in the two contests before that. Thanks to his highly-efficient shooting Sunday, Gordon fell just one point short of his season high, which he achieved when he was a member of the starting lineup. Even so, Gordon hasn't seen much of a downgrade in his production in his nine games coming off the bench this season, averaging 15.3 points and 3.2 three-pointers, compared to 15.8 points and 2.8 three-pointers as a starter.
