Rockets' Tyler Ennis: Out of rotation for fifth game in a row
Ennis (coach's decision) didn't see the floor in Sunday's 130-114 win over the Trail Blazers.
After logging light minutes in each of the Rockets' first 12 games, Ennis has dropped out of the rotation in the last five contests. Those absences have corresponded with Patrick Beverley's return from a knee injury, and so long as the Rockets' backcourt remains at full health, Ennis probably won't be called upon off the bench outside of blowouts. Given that he's 22 years old and has something of a pedigree as a former first-round draft pick, Ennis is already on his third organization and had his fourth-year team option declined by the Rockets in October, suggesting that the organization doesn't view him as a building block.
