Anthony is expected to sign a non-guaranteed training camp contract with the Spurs, Jabari Young of the San Antonio Express-News reports.
Anthony, 34, spent the last two seasons with the Pistons as a deep reserve, appearing in only 68 games. The veteran center is capable of providing some value on the defensive end, but he'll have a tough time making the roster out of camp on a non-guaranteed deal. If he does stick with the team once the season starts, Anthony is unlikely to see the court much behind Pau Gasol, LaMarcus Aldridge, Dewayne Dedmon and David Lee.
