McCallum tallied eight points (4-9 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 0-2 FT) and four rebounds over 17 minutes in Tuesday's preseason loss to the Suns.

After signing a one-year contract with San Antonio this offseason, McCallum is ticketed for a role as the team's third-string point guard. Coach Gregg Popovich's frequent choice to rest Tony Parker for one game of back-to-back sets may allow McCallum to see an uptick in minutes in such scenarios, but that alone won't afford him enough playing time to notice sustained fantasy value in season-long formats.
