Spurs' Tony Parker: Scores four points in return Saturday

Parker (back) started at point guard and provided four points (2-8 FG, 0-2 3Pt), two rebounds and two assists across 25 minutes in a 104-96 loss to the Grizzlies on Saturday.

Parker, who missed the previous four games with a stiff back, made a minimal impact in his return to action, and ended up roughly splitting the playing time at point guard with backup Patty Mills (23 minutes). With Parker's return not providing the boost the Spurs needed to make up ground in their battle for the No. 1 seed in the Western Conference and the team now two and a half games behind the Warriors in the standings, it's possible the 34-year-old will be rested Sunday against the Kings in the second half of the back-to-back set.
