Abrines (hip) was held out of Monday's practice, Brett Dawson of The Oklahoman reports.

Abrines suffered a right hip contusion during Sunday's preseason matchup with the Timberwolves and was unable to finish the game. He sat out of practice Monday and it wouldn't be surprising if he ended up remaining sidelined for the Thunder's preseason finale against the Nuggets on Tuesday. With that said, there's still nine days until the regular season opener, which should give Abrines plenty of time to get back to full strength. He's expected to be a part of coach Billy Donovan's regular rotation as a shooting specialist off the bench to start the season.
