Timberwolves' Kevin Martin: Stuck in shooting rut

Martin scored eight points (2-11 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 4-4 FT) and contributed four rebounds and a steal over 23 minutes in Tuesday's win over the Heat.

Martin has routinely put up double-digit shot attempts for the Timberwolves this season despite starting in only one of his 10 appearances, but that's not necessarily a good thing for fantasy owners looking for stability in their overall field-goal percentage. The veteran shooter has been far from accurate of late, knocking down just five of 26 shots and misfiring on all eight of his three-point tries over the last three games. These type of slumps aren't foreign to volume gunners like Martin, but can often cost owners a category in a given week.
