Timberwolves' Zach LaVine: Scores 28 points, sets season highs in boards, dimes
LaVine finished with 28 points (9-17 FG, 2-6 3Pt, 8-9 FT), eight rebounds, eight assists and one steal across 44 minutes in Monday's 112-103 loss to the Jazz.
LaVine has carried the load of late with both Andrew Wiggins and Karl-Anthony Towns struggling to provide efficient scoring, as he's averaging an impressive 24.5 points per game while shooting 48.7 percent from the field over the last four contests. In addition to turning in one of his better scoring lines of the season Monday, LaVine also established new season highs in rebounds and assists, showing some more dimensions to his game. The 21-year-old is worth riding in DFS contests until Wiggins and Towns start to pick up the slack.
