McGee has "a good chance" of making Golden State's roster, according to head coach Steve Kerr, Anthony Slater of the San Jose Mercury News reports.

McGee has been given extended minutes over the past few preseason games, including a productive effort against the Lakers on Saturday, when he had 12 points, four rebounds and two blocked shots in 14 minutes. The Warriors' style doesn't allot much playing time to centers, but that's the position considered Golden State's weakest link. If Zaza Pachulia struggles to defend the low post, McGee could sneak in for 10-15 minutes a game, which would be enough playing time for him to average at least one blocked shot per game.
