Mahinmi scored 15 points (5-8 FG, 5-8 FT) to go along with nine rebounds, seven steals, one assist and one block across 26 minutes during Tuesday's 131-127 win over the Suns.

The more athletic Mahinmi saw significantly more run than starter Marcin Gortat, who struggled with foul trouble, and he delivered an excellent performance at both ends of the court as he flirted with an unconventional triple-double. This performance some somewhat out of nowhere, as Mahinmi hadn't topped seven points or 21 minutes since returning from a knee injury, but it is clearly a sign that he is rounding into form after a long absence earlier this season.
