Coach Frank Vogel said Wednesday that Stuckey (ankle) isn't likely to be available to play immediately after the All-Star break, Pay Boylan of FOX Sports Indiana reports. Stuckey is expected to resume practicing at some point during the Pacers' break, but he could need further recovery time to regain full conditioning after being sidelined since Jan. 12 due to the right ankle sprain. While Stuckey has been sidelined, rookie Joe Young and second-year player Glenn Robinson have helped cover some of the reserve minutes in the backcourt, but both could see their roles evaporate once Stuckey is back in the fold.
Stuckey (ankle) has been ruled out at least until the All-Star break. This solidifies the severity of Stuckey's ankle injury, as he will be out at least three more weeks. Look for Chase Budinger and C.J. Miles to continue to handle most of the reserve minutes on the wing in Stuckey's absence.
Stuckey (ankle) has been ruled out for Saturday's matchup with the Nuggets. Stuckey continues to recover from a sprain and bone bruise in his right foot, which has relegated him to the sideline since Jan. 13. Saturday's contest will mark his ninth straight absence, and the fact that he's already been ruled out well in advance is an indication that Stuckey is not overly close to returning. Following Saturday's game, Indiana is off Sunday before playing four games in six nights, beginning Monday with a home date against the East-leading Cavaliers.
Stuckey (ankle) will remain out for Thursday's game against the Hawks. It will be the eighth consecutive absence for Stuckey, who continues to be evaluated on a game-to-game basis while recovering from a right foot sprain and bone bruise. At this point it's unclear how long Stuckey will be sidelined, but so long as he's out Monta Ellis will continue to see big minutes, while Joe Young and Glenn Robinson III hold minor roles as backups off the bench.
Stuckey (ankle) will be reevaluated later this week, Scott Agness of Vigilant Sports reports. The Pacers initially projected Stuckey to return from his right ankle sprain at some point this week, but he has yet to resume practicing with the team and remains limited to conditioning activity. It's looking very unlikely that Stuckey will be available for Thursday's game against the Hawks, and he could miss several more contests beyond that.
