  • Former NBA forward Andrei Kirilenko is retiring from the game of basketball, according to reporter David Pick. Kirilenko spent the majority of his NBA career with the Jazz, playing in Utah from 2001-2011. He also had stints in Minnesota and Brooklyn before being traded to the 76ers. He refused to play for Philadelphia, which was the last the NBA saw of Kirilenko. He finished 2015 overseas with CSKA Moscow. In his NBA career, Kirilenko averaged 11.8 points and 5.5 rebounds.

  • 76ers forward Andrei Kirilenko said that this year is "probably my last season." In an interview with Eurohoops, he said, "I'm still thinking about next year, but for this moment, I feel like this is the last season. I don't know yet. There's a lot of years in front of me. Change my occupation. I'm not going to be a player anymore. I still think I'm going to be connected to the basketball, somehow." Kirilenko has played in seven games this season, his 14th in the NBA.

  • CSKA Moscow signed former NBA star Andrei Kirilenko for the remainder of the season, per the Russian club's official website. Kirilenko will be introduced in press conference on Tuesday. Kirilenko has not played professionally since Nov. 13., and was suspended indefinitely without pay by the 76ers for his unwillingness to report to the team after being traded from Brooklyn. Philadelphia waived the forward on Saturday before he joined the Russian club. "The time has come to think about ending my career at the professional level," Kirilenko said in a statement. Kirilenko played seven games this season for the Nets, and holds a career average of 11.8 points per game.

  • Once he clears waivers, which is expected, forward Andrei Kirilenko will move back to Russia and sign a deal with CSKA Moscow, according to Eurobasket.com. Kirilenko was traded to the 76ers from the Nets in December but has yet to play a game for them this season. In his career, Kirilenko holds an average of 11.8 points per game.
