Gallinari scored 16 points (5-15 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 4-4 FT) while adding 10 rebounds and two assists in 35 minutes during Friday's loss to the Spurs. The points and boards were both team highs, as the Nuggets struggled to make anything happen against the Spurs' defense. It's Gallinari's third double-double in four games, and he's now averaging an impressive 18.5 points, 10.0 boards, 3.7 assists and 1.7 threes over his last six games.
Gallinari posted 20 points (2-10 FG, 0-5 3Pt, 16-17 FT), 18 rebounds, and three assists in 37 minutes Tuesday against the Clippers. Gallinari wasn't feeling too hot from the field, but he managed to put out a solid scoring output thanks to his contribution from the free-throw line. That being said, he hasn't exactly been the most efficient field-goal shooter this season, and the 18 rebounds is unlikely to be matched again. Still, he contributes a fair amount of threes and points, and is a solid option moving forward.
Gallinari scored a season-high 32 points (12-19 FG, 5-8 3Pt, 3-4 FT) to go with eight rebounds and eight assists in 37 minutes of action Tuesday against the Pelicans. Gallinari looked like his pre-injury form on Tuesday, lighting it up from all ends of the court. He's failed to hit double-digits in scoring just twice this season so far, and he's broken the 25-point scoring mark four times over the last six games. His outlook heading forward appears to be bright, as long as he can stay healthy.
Gallinari scored eight points (2-12 FG, 1-5 3Pt, 3-3 FT) and picked up four rebounds and two assists over 24 minutes in Saturday's loss to the Suns. Gallinari has been the driving force of the Nuggets' offensive attack throughout the season, so it doesn't come as much of a surprise that the team took it on the chin Saturday when the forward's shot wasn't falling. With the Nuggets trailing 60-28 at halftime, Gallinari and the other starters didn't see much usage in the second half, which explains his abnormally low minutes total.
Gallinari posted a team-high 27 points (7-9 FG, 3-4 3Pt, 10-10 FT), three assists, a rebound, and a steal over 36 minutes in Friday's 107-98 victory over the Rockets. Gallinari continues to show what he's capable of with full health, a rarity for the oft-injured small forward in recent years. The 27-year-old displayed a sizzling stroke Friday, hitting 77 percent from the field, including 75 percent from long range. Gallinari now has three 20-point performances over his last four contests, and has clearly taken the reigns of Denver's fast-paced offense.
