Rush posted three points (1-2 FG, 1-1 3Pt) and two rebounds in 12 minutes Monday against the Jazz. Rush started again on Monday but didn't quite perform as well has he did on Saturday. He has a lot of potential to hit threes, but at this point it's not worth dropping someone of value for him until he proves otherwise.
Rush will draw another start Monday, Aaron Falk of the Utah Jazz reports. Rush started for Harrison Barnes, who is out with a sprained ankle, on Saturday, and played well enough to earn another start Monday. He put up 14 points, three rebounds, one assist, and four triples in 19 minutes. Barnes will be about at least a couple more games, so Rush will try to continue capitalizing on his opportunity.
Rush started in place of the injured Harrison Barnes (ankle) and scored 16 points (5-8 FG, 4-5 3Pt, 2-2 FT) in 19 minutes in Saturday night's 120-101 win over Sacramento. Rush put on a third-quarter display, scoring 14 of his 16 points, that blew up Twitter and put some separation between the Warriors and Kings. The seldom-used wing player -- he's been inactive in two recent games -- will get some run with Barnes idle, so now would be a good time to jump on him. He's capable of this kind of production in short minutes.
Rush will start Saturday's game against the Kings, Monte Poole of csnbayarea.com reports. Rush will get the start in place of Harison Barnes, who injured his ankle during Friday's contest against the Suns. The Warriors have been reluctant to disrupt their chemistry from their bench unit, hence Rush's start, however Andre Iguodala will likely see an increase in minutes with Barnes sidelined.
Rush started for the injured Klay Thompson (back) and scored eight points with four rebounds, a steal and a blocked shot in 21 minutes in Saturday night's 107-99 overtime victory over Brooklyn. Rush, who was making his first start of the season, showed off his long-range ability, making two of his four three-point attempts. He'd been a DNP in five of the last six games, but the rust wasn't apparent on his shot. Thompson will get treatment leading up to the Warriors next game Tuesday when the host the Raptors.
