  • Kenyon Martin is retiring from the NBA, according to Yahoo! Sports. "It's been a great 15 years," Martin said. "Thanks to all the fans that supported me over the years. But a time does come when you have to walk away, and the time is now for me. I'm ready for the next chapter of my life. I would like to thank the Nets , Nuggets, Clippers, Knicks and Bucks for the opportunity to play the game that I love. "It's been real. Thanks for the love." In his career, Martin, the first overall selectin in the 2000 NBA draft, played with the Nets, Nuggets, Clippers, Knicks and Bucks. He finishes with averages of 12.3 points and 6.8 rebounds per game.

  • Kenyon Martin talks with Greece hits the skids

    Veteran free agent power forward Kenyon Martin has had talks broken off with Greek club Panathinaikos, a source has told Sportando. It remains to be seen if he can hook up with an NBA team for next year. An agreement that would have allowed Martin to play overseas appeared close, but it stalled on some details and took too much time for the team's liking, so it decided to move on.

  • Bucks power forward Kenyon Martin will miss his fifth straight game Wednesday due to a left ankle injury, FOX Sports Wisconsin reports. Martin last saw action on Feb. 2 and will now be sidelined through the All-Star break, leaving his next opportunity to play until Feb. 20. He has averaged 1.8 points and 1.7 rebounds in 11 appearances. The Bucks are 10-point home favorites against the Kings Wednesday.

  • Kenyon Martin out for Bucks on Monday

    Bucks PF Kenyon Martin will not play on Monday, coach Jason Kidd told the media shortly before game time. Kidd told Andrew Gruman of Fox Sports Wisconsin that Martin is making progress toward returning. Martin is suffering from an ankle injury that has now kept him out of four straight games. He has averaged 1.8 points in 11 games. The Bucks are 5.5 point favorites against the visiting Nets.
