The 76ers have waived Marquis Teague and Elliot Williams, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports on Monday. Teague played 19 games with the Bulls and 21 with the Nets last season before he was traded to the Sixers on Friday. Williams appeared in 67 games, including two starts last season for Philadelphia.
The rumored deal of Nets point guard Marquis Teague to the 76ers apparently has come to fruition. ESPN is reporting Philadelphia is receiving him and a second-round pick for point guard Casper Ware. The Nets have already announced that Ware will be waived. Ware played briefly for the Sixers at the end of last season, averaging 5.3 points in nine games.

The Nets received guard Marquis Teague from the Bulls in exchange for Taylor, while receiving a future draft pick from the Pelicans. Teague has appeared in just 19 games for the Bulls this season, averaging 2.4 points on 24.2 percent shooting, with 1.5 assists per game. Shengelia has appeared in 17 games for the Nets, averaging 1. Points per game, while Taylor averaging 3.9 points and 1.6 assists in 23 games.
The Bulls have recalled guard Marquis Teague from the Iowa Energy of the D-League on Thursday, the Chicago Tribune reports.Teague played eight games with the Energy, averaging 12 points on 46.2 percent shooting with 4.8 assists in 24 minutes. He will likely have a hard time cracking the rotation, as he'll sit behind Kirk Hinrich and D.J. Augustin in the depth chart for Chicago.
