Prigioni (illness) rejoined the Clippers for Tuesday's win over the Nuggets and was available as an option off the bench, Ben Bolch of the Los Angeles Times reports. Prigioni went unused for the Clippers' fourth straight game, but that was simply because of his low standing on the depth chart rather than due to any concern about his health. Unless Chris Paul, Austin Rivers, or Jamal Crawford miss a game due to injury or illness, Prigioni will have a tough time cracking a top-three spot on the Clippers' depth chart at point guard.
Prigioni (illness) is officially listed as out for Sunday's game against the Raptors, Dan Woike of the Orange County Register reports. Prigioni missed Friday's game with the illness as well, so it seems to have lingered a bit longer than expected. Considering it's only an illness, though, it's not going to affect him long term and he could return as early as Tuesday's matchup with the Nuggets.
Prigioni (illness) is out for Friday's game versus Portland, Dan Woike of the Orange County Register reports. It is unclear how serious of an illness Prigioni is suffering from, but he is unavailable Friday. With J.J. Redick returning to action, the Clippers will be able to afford Prigioni's absence. The Clippers next play Sunday versus Toronto, and Prigioni's status is up in the air.
Prigioni will come off the bench Saturday versus Detroit, Rowan Kavner of Clippers.com reports. Prigioni had started the previous two games with J.J. Redick out, but it appears head coach Doc Rivers wants to try something different Saturday. Prigioni should still see a fair share of minutes as Chris Paul is out as well.
Prigioni will have a rare starting opportunity against the Suns Thursday, Craig Grialou of 98.7 FM reports. With Chris Paul and J.J. Redick out, the Clippers will start Austin Rivers at the point and Prigioni at shooting guard. Head coach Doc Rivers probably wants to leave the sharp shooting Jamal Crawford in the team's backup rotation as a main scoring threat. With the backcourt being so shallow, Prigioni should see plenty of minutes Thursday.
