Tony Mitchell was waived by the Warriors on Monday, Rusty Simmons of the San Francisco Chronicle reports. A former second-round pick of the Pistons, Mitchell spent 2014-15 out of the NBA and looks like he could struggle to make it back to the league this season.
The Suns have waived forward Tony Mitchell on Friday. Mitchell was acquired in late December, but never played a minute with Phoenix. He was let go in order to make room for Brandan Knight, who was acquired on Friday. Mitchell played 21 games with the Pistons last season.
