Zeller (ankle) is active and will be available to play in Sunday's game against the Bucks. Zeller has participated in the Hornets' last two games despite dealing with an ankle injury and he'll take the court again against the Bucks on Sunday. He was limited to just 15 minutes during Friday's loss to the Cavaliers, though, so don't be surprised if he's on a minutes restriction again during Sunday's outing.
Zeller (ankle) is considered questionable for Sunday's matchup with Milwaukee. Zeller was limited to 15 minutes in Friday's loss to Cleveland due to the ailment, and his status is firmly up in the air for Sunday's contest. A decision likely won't come until after morning shootaround, but if Zeller is held out, the likes of Spencer Hawes and Frank Kaminsky (back) could each see increased time.
Zeller returned from an ankle injury Monday and scored 12 points (4-8 FG, 4-4 FT) to go with six rebounds and a steal in 28 minutes of action. Zeller was productive off the bench Monday and even saw more playing time than starters Al Jefferson, Marvin Williams, and PJ Hairston. It's also worth noting that Zeller was chosen to be on the court during crunch time at the end of the game rather than those three starters. Between this and the fact that he played his most minutes since the opener, it appears the 23-year-old is back to full health and may be in line to maintain these minutes going forward if he can continue being productive.
Zeller (ankle) has been cleared to play Monday against the Kings. Zeller missed the Hornets' previous game Friday against the 76ers due to the left ankle strain, but was able to get back on the court for Sunday's practice. After he completed Monday's morning shootaround without any setbacks, the Hornets felt comfortable signing off on Zeller's return to the court. Prior to going down with the injury, Zeller had started back-to-back games for the Hornets, but he'll likely head back to a bench role now that P.J. Hairston (quadriceps) has been cleared to return. Additionally, rookie Frank Kaminsky has been making a case for more frontcourt minutes of late, so it's possible that Zeller sees a downturn in his playing time off the bench upon his return.
Zeller (ankle) practiced Sunday and is questionable for Monday's matchup with the Kings, Rick Bonnell of the Charlotte Observer reports. Zeller has been dealing with ankle injury over the last week, but was able to return to practice Sunday. He remains questionable to play Monday, but will likely have his status re-evaluated at Monday morning's shootaround. If Zeller is unable to give it a go, Frank Kaminsky and Spencer Hawes could see an uptick in minutes.
