Ariza posted 20 points (7-9 FG, 4-6 3Pt, 2-3 FT) with three rebounds, two assists and four steals over 28 minutes in Wednesday's 139-100 win against the Lakers. Ariza has picked up the pace from behind the arc, hitting two or more 3-pointers in each of his past five outings. He is averaging 13.8 points and 6.8 rebounds per game during the five-game span. Ariza remains useful most in fantasy leagues of 12 or more teams.
Ariza registered 13 points (3-6 FG, 2-4 3Pt, 5-6 FT), 11 rebounds, two steals and one assist across 30 minutes in Friday's 115-94 victory over the Bulls. That was just Ariza's fourth game on the season with double-digit rebounds as he picked up the slack in the interior Friday night. Although Ariza has been efficient, he just hasn't been given enough shots from the floor to provide significant fantasy value to owners, thus limiting his upside in the next few games unless her can pad different stat categories.
Ariza poured in 15 points (3-8 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 6-6 FT) and added three rebounds, three assists and one steal over 32 minutes in Saturday's 142-130 win over the Timberwolves. All of Ariza's non-free-throw scoring came from behind the arc, helping him hit double digits in the scoring column for the first time in the last four games. The 13-year veteran has been very reliable on his long-range shooting for his offensive contributions recently, as all but one of his baskets over the last three contests have come from downtown. His overall struggles from the floor have resulted in five consecutive contests where Ariza has shot 37.5 percent or lower, although he's been able to salvage those outings from a fantasy perspective with solid contributions in rebounds, assists and steals.
Ariza scored 11 points (4-11 FG, 3-10 3Pt) and added seven rebounds, three assists, two steals and two blocks in 42 points during Thursday's 107-95 win over the Hornets. Ariza is a multi-category producer, and this was a great well-rounded performance - he was one point away from beating his season average in every counting category. He was in a lengthy scoring drought before Tuesday, scoring fewer than 13 points in 11 straight games while failing to post consecutive games in double-digits. He's never been a great scorer, but now that he has put together three straight games with at least 10 points, his production in other categories should have him back in starting lineups in the majority of formats.
Ariza produced 20 points (7-15 FG, 4-9 3Pt, 2-3 FT), seven rebounds, four assists and two steals across 36 minutes of run during Tuesday's 128-104 victory over the Magic. Ariza produced a well-rounded stat line to help the Rockets take care of business, reaching the 20-point mark for the firs time in the last 12 games. He had endured an obvious scoring slump during that span, scoring in double-digits just four times and connecting on multiple three-point attempts an equal amount. Ariza's production in the other categories had remained rather consistent during the drought, and he should reprise his status as a useful fantasy asset once his shot begins to fall more regularly.
