    The Pacers pulled the plug on the Andrew Bynum experiment Wednesday, announcing that the oft-injured center will not be with the team for the remainder of the postseason. Bynum only ended up playing two games with the Pacers after signing Feb. 1, due to ongoing knee trouble. Bynum was never able to get healthy for the Pacers, and has now appeared in just 26 games over the last two seasons. He is a free agent this offseason, after averaging 8.7 points and 5.6 rebounds per game for the Cavaliers and Pacers.

    Pacers center Andrew Bynum has not played since the middle of March, and even a month off has not given him enough time to recover from knee troubles. Pacers.com reports Thursday Bynum has already been ruled out for the first round of the playoffs against the Hawks. Bynum ended up appearing in just two games for the Pacers and 26 games overall this season, averaging 8.7 points and 5.6 rebounds per game.

    Pacers center Andrew Bynum has continued soreness and swelling in his right knee and will be out indefinitely, the team announced Friday.Head coach Frank Vogel hinted that Bynum was not expected to return anytime soon after experiencing some swelling after his second appearance for the Pacers on Saturday against Detroit. He will continue to undergo treatment moving forward.Bynum averaged 11.5 points and 9.5 rebounds over his first two appearances with Indiana. The Pacers will have 14 games remaining in the regular season before the start of the playoffs.

    Pacers head coach Frank Vogel does not expect center Andrew Bynum to be back in game action anytime soon, according to Pro Basketball Talk on Thursday.Bynum had his right knee drained Monday, after experiencing some swelling after his second appearance for the Pacers on Saturday against Detroit. He is averaging 11.5 points and 9.5 rebounds over his first two appearances for the Pacers. A timetable has not been set for his return."He played in the Detroit game, aggravated a previous condition and had some swelling in there," Vogel said. "He's going to be out for a little while."
