  • 76ers' Paul Millsap: Off injury report

Millsap (illness) is not on the injury report for Saturday's Game 1 against the Raptors. As expected, Millsap will be available after missing the final game of the regular season. However, he hasn't played since March 29, and he's essentially out of the rotation.

  • 76ers' Paul Millsap: Out Sunday due to illness

Millsap has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Pistons due to a non-COVID illness. Despite being healthy, Millsap hasn't played since March 29, so his absence shouldn't impact the rotation. It's unclear if he'll garner a role for the 76ers during the playoffs.

  • 76ers' Paul Millsap: Coming off bench Wednesday

Millsap will come off the bench for Wednesday's game against the Lakers. With Joel Embiid returning to the lineup after a one-game absence, Millsap will shift back to a reserve role. The veteran is averaging 3.6 points and 3.6 rebounds in 11.4 minutes per game this season.

  • 76ers' Paul Millsap: Joins starting five

Millsap will start Monday's game against the Heat. Joel Embiid (back) is unavailable for Monday's matchup with Miami, so Millsap will make his first start for Philadelphia. Millsap didn't play as a coach's decision the past seven games but will obviously be in the rotation Monday with Embiid out.

  • 76ers' Paul Millsap: Not on injury report

Millsap (personal) isn't on the injury report for Thursday's game against Brooklyn. Millsap didn't play Monday against Chicago while tending to a personal matter, but he returned to practice Wednesday and will be able to suit up against his former team. He's unlikely to play a major role, as he's averaged 4.0 points and 3.0 rebounds in 10.4 minutes per game since joining the 76ers.

  • 76ers' Paul Millsap: Returns to team Wednesday

Millsap (personal) returned to practice Wednesday, Gina Mizell of The Philadelphia Inquirer reports. Millsap was absent for Monday's win over the Bulls due to a personal matter, but he has since returned to the team and will likely be available for Thursday's contest against the Nets -- his former team. Either way, he isn't expected to garner a major role, as he's averaged just 4.0 points and 3.0 rebounds in 10.4 minutes since being acquired by Philadelphia.

  • 76ers' Paul Millsap: Out Monday

Millsap (personal) will not play Monday against the Bulls. The veteran is tending to a personal matter and will not be available as the Sixers begin a three-game week. His next chance to play will come Thursday against the Nets.

  • 76ers' Paul Millsap: Fails to score in 12 minutes

Millsap closed Wednesday's 123-108 victory over the Knicks with two rebounds and one block across 12 minutes. Millsap, while featuring in the rotation on a regular basis, continues to be a nonfactor when it comes to fantasy value. He has now played five games for his new team, averaging just 4.4 points, 2.8 rebounds and 0.6 assists in just over 10 minutes per game. While we do have fond memories of his time in Atlanta and to a lesser extent, Denver, Millsap is simply now an afterthought when it comes to fantasy basketball.

  • 76ers' Paul Millsap: To see expanded role

Millsap is expected to play a larger role in the team's rotation Thursday against Milwaukee, Ky Carlin of USA Today reports. Millsap logged only nine minutes in his team debut Tuesday against the Celtics, but head coach Doc Rivers plans to use the veteran forward in an expanded role Thursday, per Carlin. He's played in just two contests since the start of the calendar year, logging 19 and nine minutes in those two contests, respectively.

  • 76ers' Paul Millsap: Scores nine points in Philly debut

Millsap racked up nine points (3-6 FG, 2-2 3Pt, 1-2 FT), three rebounds and one assist over nine minutes during Tuesday's 135-87 loss to the Celtics. Millsap was serviceable during his time on the court in his 76ers debut, which marked his first appearance since Jan. 13 after he elected to leave the Nets shortly thereafter while the team worked to trade him. The blowout nature of the game may have contributed to Millsap playing a slightly larger role than expected, as he won't be a lock to stick in Philadelphia's rotation as Joel Embiid's primary backup.

  • 76ers' Paul Millsap: Absent from injury report

Millsap (personal) isn't listed on the Philadelphia's injury report ahead of Tuesday's game against Boston. This indicates that Millsap will be available for Tuesday's contest after being dealt from the Nets to the 76ers. He's in line for a depth role with his new squad, as Joel Embiid and Paul Reed should eat up the majority of the minutes at center.

  • 76ers' Paul Millsap: Status uncertain for Tuesday

Millsap (personal) joined the 76ers for practice Monday, Kyle Neubeck of PhillyVoice.com reports. Following Thursday's blockbuster deal that sent Millsap and James Harden (hamstring) to Philadelphia, the two newest members of the 76ers roster took part in their first practice with the team. Though Philadelphia has already ruled out Harden for its final two games before the All-Star break while he works his way back into game shape coming off the hamstring injury, Millsap's status for games Tuesday against the Celtics and Thursday in Milwaukee is less clear. While Millsap isn't dealing with an injury, he hasn't appeared in a game since Jan. 13, as the Nets decided shortly thereafter to hold him out of action while exploring trade options for the veteran big man. Because of his prolonged absence, Millsap may need more than one practice to regain full conditioning, so he can be viewed as questionable for Tuesday's contest for the time being. Once deemed ready to play, Millsap could challenge Paul Reed for the top backup role behind MVP frontrunner Joel Embiid.

  • 76ers' Paul Millsap: Out at least two games

Millsap (trade pending) has been ruled out for Friday's game against the Thunder and Saturday's game against the Cavaliers, Justin Grasso of SI.com reports. Although Millsap was involved in Thursday's trade between the Nets and 76ers that also sent James Harden (hamstring) to Philadelphia, the players involved still need to pass physicals before they're cleared to make their team debuts. The 37-year-old is expected to provide additional depth in the frontcourt once he's able to suit up.

  • 76ers' Paul Millsap: Sent to Philly with Harden

Millsap was traded to the 76ers from the Nets on Thursday, along with James Harden, in exchange for Ben Simmons, Seth Curry, Andre Drummond and two first-round picks, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports. Millsap fell out of favor with the Nets around mid-December and only appeared in two games after Christmas Day. He'll head to Philly to provide some frontcourt depth, and while he could see a slightly increased role, the veteran is unlikely to emerge as a fantasy option in most formats.

  • Nets' Paul Millsap: Likely out for rest of road trip

Head coach Steve Nash said Wednesday that the Nets may not have Millsap (personal) available for the remaining three games of the team's road trip, Brian Lewis of the New York Post reports. Millsap will sit out his second straight game Wednesday in Washington to tend to the personal matter, and based on Nash's comments, the Nets aren't planning on having him available Friday in San Antonio or Sunday in Minnesota. Even with Nicolas Claxton (hamstring) day-to-day and Kevin Durant (knee) likely sidelined through the All-Star break, Millsap isn't expected to be a regular member of Brooklyn's rotation.

  • Nets' Paul Millsap: Out Wednesday

Millsap (personal) is out for Wednesday's contest against the Wizards, Brian Lewis of the New York Post reports. Millsap isn't a part of the Nets' regular rotation at this point. His lack of availability Wednesday shouldn't affect fantasy.

  • Nets' Paul Millsap: Out Monday for personal matter

Millsap has been ruled out for Monday's game against the Cavaliers while he tends to a personal matter, Alex Schiffer of The Athletic reports. The veteran big man previously went on a three-week personal leave in late October before rejoining the Nets, though it's unclear if Millsap's absence will be as lengthy this time around. Regardless, Millsap hasn't been a regular member of the rotation this season, appearing in just three of Brooklyn's 12 games since he cleared the NBA's COVID-19 health and safety protocols Dec. 23.

  • Nets' Paul Millsap: Corrals 10 boards Thursday

Millsap totaled eight points (4-6 FG, 0-1 3Pt), 10 rebounds, one assist and three blocks over 19 minutes during Thursday's 130-109 loss to the Thunder. Millsap hadn't gotten off the bench in eight straight games prior to Thursday, but he was called upon to play 19 minutes against OKC since the Nets were without a handful of key players. The veteran responded by collecting double-digit boards for the first time this season, leading Brooklyn in that category. He also swatted a season-high three shots to round out a strong effort off the bench. Perhaps this performance will influence coach Steve Nash to give Millsap more playing time, though he's unlikely to log this many minutes when the team fields a more complete squad.

  • Nets' Paul Millsap: Removed from league protocols

Nets head coach Steve Nash said Thursday that Millsap has cleared the NBA's COVID-19 health and safety protocols, Alex Schiffer of The Athletic reports. In addition to Millsap, James Harden and Jevon Carter were cleared to end their quarantines and rejoin Brooklyn, but Nash said that rookies Cam Thomas, Kessler Edwards and David Duke have all entered the protocols. As a result, Brooklyn is still without the league-required eight available players, which prompted the postponement of Thursday's game against the Trail Blazers one day earlier. Assuming Brooklyn is able to clear at least two more players in the next two days, Millsap and the Nets will return to action Christmas Day against the Lakers. It's unclear how Millsap looks from a conditioning standpoint after missing the team's past three games, but the Nets may not have the luxury of easing him back in with a light minutes load Saturday.

  • Nets' Paul Millsap: Ruled out Tuesday

Millsap (COVID-19) won't play in Tuesday's game against Toronto, Brian Lewis of the New York Post reports. Millsap was placed in the league's health and safety protocols earlier in the day, so this latest update from the team was expected. Blake Griffin could pick up additional minutes while Millsap is out.
