    Kyrylo Fesenko: Close to signing with Italian deal

    Fesenko is set to sign a contract with Pallacanestro Cantu of Italy, Sportando reports. Fesenko previously appeared in the NBA with the Jazz and Pacers, but has been out of the league since 2011-12. He began the current campaign in his native Russia and figures to stick overseas for the remainder of his career.

Pacers coach Frank Vogel told the Star, "He'll be working with our strength and conditioning coach getting some shots up working on those sort of things."
    Analysis: Fesenko is coming off of a knee injury that will likely limit his minutes as the backup being All-Star Roy Hibbert. He will miss the remainder of the season as a result of the injury and will be unable to play basketball for at least a month. Fesenko injured his thumb Monday while defending teammate Paul Millsap during practice in Los Angeles. Fesenko was initially diagnosed with a jammed right thumb and the finger was placed in a splint. An MRI exam taken Tuesday night at Staples Center produced negative X-rays. The Jazz said that Fesenko had a sprained right thumb, and he did not play against the Lakers. Another MRI was taken Wednesday in Salt Lake City, though, confirming Fesenko's fracture.
    Analysis: Fesenko has minimal Fantasy value in the majority of leagues when healthy. He should be released in any formats if he's still owned at this point in the season.

    News: The Jazz report Wednesday that center Kyrylo Fesenko is considered doubtful for Thursday's game against Portland. Fesenko missed Tuesday's game against the Lakers with an injured right thumb.
    Analysis: Fesenko has minimal Fantasy value in the majority of leagues when healthy. Keep an eye on his status, but don't plan on using him even if he plays against the Blazers.
