    Grizzlies forward Jon Leuer saw an increased role Wednesday against the Nets with Zach Randolph out with an illness, as he played in a game for the first time in four weeks. With Randolph out and the Grizzlies' starters slumping, Leuer got a long leash with the second unit. He scored 19 points in 26 minutes, both of which represent his best single-game totals since early January. Leuer shot 6 of 10 from the field with three 3-pointers and five rebounds in a 103-94 loss. Leuer has appeared in 35 games this season, but the majority of them came in the season's first three months. He has been a nonfactor recently, Wednesday's performance excepted.
