Bucks' Jerryd Bayless: Resumes bench role

Bayless returned to his bench role Thursday against the Cavaliers. Bayless started Tuesday against the Wizards due to Jabari Parker's foot injury. However, Jabari has recovered and Bayless resumed his position coming off the bench, scoring nine points with 25 minutes Thursday's contest against Cleveland.

Bucks' Jerryd Bayless: Scores 13 points in start Tuesday against Wizards

Bayless scored 13 points (5-11 FG, 3-6 3Pt) while pulling down six rebounds and dishing out three assists over 37 minutes in Tuesday's 115-86 loss to the Wizards. Bayless got the start Tuesday -- his fourth of the season -- and was the Bucks best guard in a very lopsided contest. He chipped in two steals and drained three from distance for the third straight game. Bayless has been a surprising fantasy contributor this season and should be owned in most 12-team leagues.

Bucks' Jerryd Bayless: Will start Tuesday against Washington

Bayless will start Tuesday against Washington, Aron Yohannes of SB Nation reports. The Bucks' starting lineup will entail Khris Middleton, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Michael Carter-Williams, Greg Monroe, and Bayless for Tuesday's game. Considering Jabari will be not be playing during the Bucks' three-game road trip, Bayless could be seeing increased playing time over the next few contests.

Bucks' Jerryd Bayless: Scores 17 off the bench Saturday

Bayless scored 17 points (7-16 FG, 3-7 3Pt) with five assists and two rebounds in 39 minutes off the bench during Saturday's double-OT win over the Cavaliers. He also drew the unenviable assignment of guarding LeBron James late in the second overtime period after Giannis Antetokounmpo fouled out, but managed to hold King James scoreless on the Cavs' last few possessions. Bayless has now scored in double digits in four straight games as he continues to see big minutes off the Milwaukee bench.

      Bucks' Jerryd Bayless: Starting Wednesday

Bayless will remain in the starting lineup Wednesday. Michael Carter-Williams (ankle) is inactive, so Bayless will remain a starter, and he'll handle more of the point guard duties Wednesday. He'll be joined by Khris Middleton in the backcourt, while the Bucks go with Giannis Antetokounmpo, Jabari Parker (knee) and Greg Monroe up front.

Bucks' Jerryd Bayless: Explodes for 26 points in Monday's win

Bayless exploded for 26 points (8-15 FG, 6-10 3Pt, 4-7 FT) and played a game-high 47 minutes in Monday's 103-96 win against the Nets. After scoring 20 points combined in the first three games of the season, Bayless put the Bucks on his back to get Milwaukee in the win column. He got open looks all night off of great penetration from his wings. The Bucks' bench isn't very deep, so even after O.J. Mayo and Jabari Parker return, Bayless should take over the sixth-man role.

Bucks' Jerryd Bayless: Will start in Wednesday's tilt

Bayless will start in Wednesday's matchup with the Knicks. Bayless is starting for the Bucks Wednesday due to Giannis Antetokounmpo serving a one game suspension and O.J. Mayo (hamstring) being held out with an undisclosed hamstring injury. Bayless will get a large share of the minutes Wednesday before returning to his role as a backup when Antetokounmpo returns Friday.

Bucks' Jerryd Bayless: Scores 18 in preseason start

Bayless totaled 18 points (5-10 FG, 2-3 3Pt, 6-7 FT), three rebounds and four assists in a 112-108 loss to Minnesota on Friday. With Michael Carter-Williams being rested for this game, Bayless got the reigns on the offense in the preseason finale. Bayless has always shown this ability as a fill-in and that always makes him a nice play in daily formats if Carter-Williams is to ever miss any time. In any case, he'll likely remain behind Greivis Vasquez on the depth chart and will likely play more than 30 minutes only a handful of times this season, if that.

Bucks G Tyler Ennis likely out until at least November following surgery

Bucks guard Tyler Ennis (shoulder) is still recovering from offseason surgery on his right shoulder and is expected to remain sidelined until mid-November, Gery Woelfel of the Racine Journal Times reports. Ennis went under the knife in May to repair the labrum in the shoulder, and remains without clearance to absorb contact. This should not a significant loss for the Bucks, who are very deep at the point-guard spot. Milwaukee still has Michael-Carter Williams and Jerryd Bayless on the roster, and added Greivis Vasquez to the mix in a draft-day trade.
