    PF Nemanja Bjelica to sign with Timberwolves

    The Timberwolves announced they will sign Euroleague MVP Nemanja Bjelica to a contract, finally bringing the sweet-shooting forward to the NBA five years after he was drafted. Bjelica was picked by the Wizards in the second-round of the 2010 and his rights were traded to the Wolves shortly thereafter. The 6-foot-10 forward played for Turkey's Fenerbahce, averaging 11.5 points and 8.2 rebounds in Euroleague and Turkish League play.

    Timberwolves may try to sign Nemanja Bjelica in offseason

    The Timberwolves will make a push to sign Serbian SF Nemanja Bjelica over the offseason, according to a report by Darren Wolfson Minneapolis KSTP television station. Bjelica was selected by the Wizards in the second round of the 2010 draft, who then traded his rights to the Timberwolves. Bjelica is a member of Serbia's national team and is playing this year for a professional team in Turkey. Through 15 games, he's averaging 17.2 points and is shooting 10-of-40 on 3-pointers. Bjelica has improved his rebounding, and is averaging 7.1 per game.
