    Analysis: James played in just seven games for the Nets this season and hadn't done much in those outings. He's averaging just 4.9 points and 4.7 boards per contest, which aren't exactly numbers Fantasy owners look for. Now that he's done for the year, Fantasy owners can ignore him in all leagues and formats.

    News: According to the New York Daily News, Nets forward Damion James will have surgery to replace the screw in his surgically replaced foot on Tuesday. James hasn't played since Jan. 4 against Boston.
    Analysis: James has played in just seven games for the Nets this season and hasn't done much in those outings. He's averaging just 4.9 points and 4.7 boards per contest, which aren't exactly numbers Fantasy owners look for. Continue to leave him on waivers as there is no timetable for his return.
  • James out at least two more games

    News: The New York Daily News reports Nets forward Damion James was limited in practice Thursday and is out for at least two more games. He has already missed eight straight games.
    Analysis: James compared his injury to that of Giants RB Ahmad Bradshaw, who missed multiple games this season after aggravating his surgically-repaired foot. Bradshaw did return to play in the NFL, and it appears James will be back at some point as well. But now is not the time to activate him in Fantasy. He has low-end Fantasy appeal when active.
