Fournier finished with 21 points (7-11 FG, 3-5 3Pt, 4-4 FT), three rebounds, two blocks and one steal over 26 minutes during Tuesday's 120-102 loss to the 76ers. Fournier returned from a one-game absence due to a sore right knee. He led the bench in scoring Tuesday, and he finished behind only Jaden Ivey in that category. Fournier's 21 points marked a season high for the 12-year veteran, and his playing time has waxed and waned since joining the Pistons at the trade deadline. He could see more action for Thursday's game against the Bulls if Cade Cunningham (knee) continues to miss time.... See More ... See Less

Pistons' Evan Fournier: Available for Tuesday
Fournier (knee) is available for Tuesday's game against the 76ers. Fournier was previously considered probable due to right knee soreness. In 25 appearances for Detroit, Fournier has averaged 6.5 points, 1.8 rebounds, 1.6 assists and 1.1 three-pointers in 17.7 minutes.... See More ... See Less -
Pistons' Evan Fournier: Probable for Tuesday's game
Fournier (knee) is probable for Tuesday's game against the 76ers. Fournier missed Saturday's game against the Nets due to a sore right knee, but he'll likely be back in action a few days later. Over his last 10 appearances, he's averaged 4.6 points in 19.0 minutes per game.... See More ... See Less -
Pistons' Evan Fournier: Ruled out Saturday
Fournier won't play in Saturday's game in Brooklyn due to right knee soreness. After logging double-digit minutes in 11 straight games, Fournier played just three minutes in Friday's 108-90 loss to the Grizzlies, so the knee injury could explain the light workload. With Fournier out for the second leg of the back-to-back set, Jared Rhoden will likely be included in the rotation as a backup forward behind Tosan Evbuomwan and Troy Brown.... See More ... Pistons' Evan Fournier: Poor shooting in loss
Fournier accumulated five points (2-8 FG, 1-5 3Pt), four assists, three rebounds, one block and one steal over 29 minutes during Monday's 110-108 loss to the Grizzlies. This season has been extremely forgettable for the 31-year-old, who appeared in only three contests for the Knicks before being traded to Detroit on Feb. 8. Since the trade, Fournier has averaged 7.1 points on 36.5 percent shooting in 18.7 minutes. Expect Fournier to receive less playing time moving forward as Marcus Sasser (illness) and Simone Fontecchio (toe) look to return.... See More ... See Less -
Pistons' Evan Fournier: Leads team in scoring Sunday
Fournier had a team-high 18 points (6-14 FG, 4-8 3Pt, 2-3 FT), four rebounds, one assist and three steals across 31 minutes off the bench during Sunday's 104-101 loss to Miami. All five Detroit starters scored in double digits, but none topped Fournier's 18 points. It was the 31-year-old's best scoring performance since coming over from the Knicks, and the first time he played more than 30 minutes as Ausar Thompson (illness) missed his fourth straight game and Quentin Grimes (knee) missed his second straight. There's no real role for Fournier on a rebuilding Pistons roster when the younger wing options are healthy, but he might have some short-term DFS appeal.... See More ... See Less -
Pistons' Evan Fournier: Pops for season-high 17 in loss
Fournier provided a season-high 17 points (6-13 FG, 3-8 3Pt, 2-2 FT), one rebound, five assists and one steal across 26 minutes off the bench during Sunday's 113-91 loss to Orlando. No Detroit starter managed more than 11 points on the night, and Fournier's 17 from the second unit wound up leading the team. The 26 minutes tied the highest workload he's seen so far since joining the Pistons, and he's scored in double digits five times in eight games for his new club while shooting 40.6 percent (13-for-32) from beyond the arc. The 31-year-old isn't part of Detroit's future, but he should have a fairly consistent role in the rotation for the rest of 2023-24.... See More ... See Less -
Pistons' Evan Fournier: Booed extensively
Fournier logged seven points (3-5 FG, 1-3 3Pt), one assist and two steals in 20 minutes during Monday's 113-111 loss to the Knicks. Fournier was not warmly received upon his return to Madison Square Garden, but he scored effectively in his fifth game as a Piston. Marcus Sasser (knee) is expected to miss the next week, which should lead to a rotational role for the Frenchman.... See More ... See Less -
Pistons' Evan Fournier: Off injury report
Fournier isn't on the injury report for Tuesday's game versus the Lakers. Fournier wasn't available for Saturday's 112-106 loss to the Clippers after the Pistons acquired him from the Knicks two days prior, but he'll suit up Tuesday after getting the chance to practice with his new team over the weekend. However, the rebuilding Pistons aren't likely to prioritize minutes for the 31-year-old Fournier, who could find himself outside of the rotation like he had been in New York.... See More ... Pistons' Evan Fournier: Won't play Saturday
Fournier (trade pending) will not play in Saturday's game against the Clippers. The Knicks traded Fournier to the Pistons on Thursday, but it's hard to see a path to minutes for the veteran in Detroit given the current direction of the franchise.... See More ... See Less -
Pistons' Evan Fournier: Traded to Detroit
Fournier was traded from the Knicks to the Pistons along with Quentin Grimes, Malachi Flynn, Ryan Arcidiacono and two second-round picks Thursday in exchange for Bojan Bogdanovic (calf) and Alec Burks, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports. Fournier was a productive player for the Magic earlier in his career, but his role has significantly declined with the Knicks over the past two seasons. After making just 27 appearances last year, he appeared in just three matchups to begin the 2023-24 campaign. He'll presumably benefit from a change of scenery, especially since Bogdanovic was included in Thursday's trade, but the Pistons will likely prioritize the development of Jaden Ivey and Ausar Thompson to close out the season. However, Fournier may at least be able to carve out some minutes off the bench down the stretch.... See More ... See Less -
Knicks' Evan Fournier: Off injury report
Fournier (personal) has been removed from the injury report ahead of Thursday's game against the Pacers. While Fournier will be available for Thursday's game, that doesn't mean he'll touch the floor. He's made just three brief appearances for the Knicks this season, logging a total of 39 minutes.... See More ... See Less -
Knicks' Evan Fournier: Out again Tuesday
Fournier (personal) won't play in Tuesday's game against the Jazz. Fournier will miss his second game in a row for the Knicks. With a total of six minutes played in January, his absence is unlikely to affect the rotation.... See More ... See Less -
Knicks' Evan Fournier: Out for personal reasons
Fournier won't play in Monday's game against the Hornets for personal reasons, Fred Katz of The Athletic reports. Fournier's absence is unlikely to impact the rotation, as he's played a total of six minutes in January.... See More ... See Less -
Knicks' Evan Fournier: Notches 10 points
Fournier ended Saturday's 140-126 loss to the Pacers with 10 points (3-10 FG, 2-8 3Pt, 2-2 FT), two rebounds, two assists and three steals across 17 minutes. Fournier made just his second appearance of the season Saturday, as the Knicks were shorthanded following a trade that sent RJ Barrett and Immanuel Quickley to Toronto for a package involving O.G. Anunoby. With Anunoby expected to debut Monday against Minnesota, Fournier will likely be right back out of the rotation.... See More ... See Less -
Knicks' Evan Fournier: Left off injury report
Fournier (illness) is available for Friday's game versus the Celtics. Fournier missed the Knicks' previous game due to an illness but will suit up Friday. However, the veteran guard is unlikely to see any action.... See More ... See Less -
Knicks' Evan Fournier: Inactive against Milwaukee
Fournier (illness) won't play in Tuesday's In-Season Tournament Quarterfinal game against the Bucks. Fournier has been downgraded from questionable to out Tuesday due to a non-COVID illness. His absence shouldn't affect the team's rotation.... See More ... See Less -
Knicks' Evan Fournier: Dealing with illness
Fournier is questionable for Tuesday's game against the Bucks due to a non-COVID illness. Fournier hasn't been a part of coach Tom Thibodeau's rotation since the beginning of last season, so his potential absence shouldn't have fantasy implications.... See More ... See Less -
Knicks' Evan Fournier: Available Friday
Fournier (ankle) is available for Friday's game against the Heat, Kristian Winfield of the New York Daily News reports. Despite his availability, Fournier likely won't see the floor Friday. He hasn't been a regular rotation player for the Knicks since the beginning of last season.... See More ... See Less -
Knicks' Evan Fournier: Officially questionable Friday
Fournier (ankle) is questionable for Friday's game against the Heat. Fournier has appeared in only one game this season -- a 21-point victory over the lowly Wizards on Nov. 17. Even if he's available, it's unlikely he'll play a significant role.... See More ... See Less
