      76ers waive Marquis Teague, Elliot Williams Monday

      The 76ers have waived Marquis Teague and Elliot Williams, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports on Monday. Teague played 19 games with the Bulls and 21 with the Nets last season before he was traded to the Sixers on Friday. Williams appeared in 67 games, including two starts last season for Philadelphia.

      Report: Sixers snag PG Marquise Teague from Nets

      The rumored deal of Nets point guard Marquis Teague to the 76ers apparently has come to fruition. ESPN is reporting Philadelphia is receiving him and a second-round pick for point guard Casper Ware. The Nets have already announced that Ware will be waived. Ware played briefly for the Sixers at the end of last season, averaging 5.3 points in nine games.

      The 76ers have been discussing a trade with the Nets to acquire guard Marquis Teague, sources have told Yahoo Sports. The 21-year-old Teague, who was selected by Chicago in the first round of the 2012 draft, averaged 2.7 points in 11 minutes per game last season with the Bulls and Nets.

      Nets makes minor moves with Bulls, Pelicans

      The Nets made a pair of moves at the bottom of the roster Saturday, sending guard Tyshawn Taylor to New Orleans and forward Tornike Shengelia to Chicago, reports. The Nets received guard Marquis Teague from the Bulls in exchange for Taylor, while receiving a future draft pick from the Pelicans. Teague has appeared in just 19 games for the Bulls this season, averaging 2.4 points on 24.2 percent shooting, with 1.5 assists per game. Shengelia has appeared in 17 games for the Nets, averaging 1. Points per game, while Taylor averaging 3.9 points and 1.6 assists in 23 games.

      Marquis Teague

      The Bulls have recalled guard Marquis Teague from the Iowa Energy of the D-League on Thursday, the Chicago Tribune reports.Teague played eight games with the Energy, averaging 12 points on 46.2 percent shooting with 4.8 assists in 24 minutes. He will likely have a hard time cracking the rotation, as he'll sit behind Kirk Hinrich and D.J. Augustin in the depth chart for Chicago.

      Bulls guard Marquis Teague played a season-high 15 minutes in Thursday's 97-87 loss to the Nuggets, scoring three points on 1 of 5 shooting and adding two assists. Teague had totaled just 11 minutes in three games played this season before getting some run Thursday. He also turned the ball over three times in his limited action.

      Report: Timberwolves interested in Marquis Teague

      Bulls guard Marquis Teague is drawing all kinds of trade interest, reports. After a report came to light Sunday that the Jazz have been interested in Teague, there have also been reports that the Minnesota Timberwolves have interest. Teague is quick, strong and athletic but has struggled with execution. The Bulls would not have too many issues giving him up if the price was right.

      Not much improvement from Teague

      Bulls guard Marquis Teague continues to play just a limited role for the team, as the third point guard in the lineup. Teague is averaging 15.8 minutes per game since the All-Star break, but was back in a reserve role Thursday against the Trail Blazers, with Kirk Hinrich healthy. Teague is averaging just 3.3 points and 1.9 assists per game over the last 10, while shooting 34.6 percent from the field.
