Pacers' Solomon Hill: Will start Friday

Hill will draw the start Friday versus the Warriors, Candace Buckner of Indy Star Sports reports. Hill will likely replace Glenn Robinson Jr. in the starting lineup Friday. It will be Hill's first start of the season, and he draws a difficult matchup with the Warrors for this opportunity. HIll is averaging 2.7 points and 1.8 rebounds in 10 minutes per game this season.

Pacers' Solomon Hill: Plays six minutes Tuesday

Hill missed his lone three-point shot attempt and committed one foul in six minutes of action during the Pacers' 97-94 win against the Suns on Tuesday. Hill played a season-high 28 minutes on Sunday versus the Nuggets, but was relegated to the bench for most of Tuesday's matchup with the Suns. He has appeared in only 22 of the Pacers' 42 games thus far while playing 10 minutes per game, and Hill simply doesn't have a lot of time available behind Paul George and C.J. Miles at small forward. Further, Chase Budinger is also seeing more minutes than Hill, so Hill is far removed from the conversation in fantasy at the moment.

Pacers' Solomon Hill: Grabs nine boards Tuesday

Hill scored six points (3-8 FG) with nine rebounds, two assists, one block, and one steal in Tuesday's loss to the Warriors. After averaging 29 minutes per game in 2014-15, Hill's minutes have taken a sharp hit this season. The 6-foot-7 forward grabbed an impressive nine boards in 21 minutes, but Hill has largely been absent from head coach Frank Vogel's rotations. Having been held out of three of the Pacers' last five games, Hill will hope to capitalize on the momentum of his performance Tuesday.

Pacers' Solomon Hill: Likely out of rotation

Hill did not play in Sunday's game after playing in the last five contests. Hill hasn't played a lot this season but he did see a sudden burst of playing time over the past two weeks while George Hill (illness) and Rodney Stuckey (ankle) were missing some time. With Hill and Stuckey back in the lineup Sunday, Hill again didn't see any time and he likely won't play many minutes anytime soon unless injuries force him into the lineup.

Pacers' Solomon Hill: Sees first extended minutes of season

Hill saw 13 minutes of action in Monday's loss to the Bulls, producing four points (2-5 FG, 0-2 3Pt) and one rebound. It's just the second appearance of the season for Hill. Because George Hill (illness) and Rodney Stuckey (ankle) were unavailable Monday, Vogel was forced to turn to Solomon Hill and the lightly used Joseph Young to eat up some minutes, but neither player is expected to emerge as a regular rotation option once the Pacers' backcourt is back to full health.

Pacers' Solomon Hill: Doesn't see court Wednesday

Hill was DNP-CD in the Pacers' Wednesday win against Boston. Hill hasn't been able to find himself as part of the Pacers' rotation early on this regular season, having played just two minutes in five tilts. This doesn't come as much of a surprise because he is currently behind CJ Miles (ankle) and Chase Budinger on the depth chart, and Paul George also slides to the small forward spot often as well. Even with Miles resting a sore ankle on Wednesday, Hill was still unable to find playing time.

Pacers' Solomon Hill: Returns from ankle injury Tuesday

Hill (ankle) returned to the court in Tuesday's preseason game against the Bulls, grabbing a rebound and a steal in seven minutes of action. Hill was back on the court for the first time since Oct. 6, but received nominal playing time. The third-year pro's ability to provide solid offensive contributions on occasion, and the valuable playing time he garnered in the 2014-15 season when various Pacers' starters were sidelined, make Hill an important piece of the team's bench. Hill also has positional versatility, capable of filling in at both forward spots and even shooting guard if necessary.

Pacers SF Solomon Hill a full participant in practice Friday

Pacers forward Solomon Hill (ankle) was a full participant in practice Friday, Nate Taylor of the Indy Star reports. Hill hasn't played in a preseason game since the first week of October, so this is good news for the forward, who's dealing with a minor ankle injury. With two games left in the preseason, the Pacers likely want to get Hill some time on the floor to get his legs under him, but they aren't going to risk a setback by forcing him into action too soon. Consider Hill questionable for Tuesday's preseason matchup with the Bulls, but he should be good to go by the start of the regular season.

Pacers' Solomon Hill: Questionable for Thursday's game

Hill (ankle) is considered questionable for Thursday's preseason game against the Cavaliers. Hill has been plagued by a right ankle sprain for the past week and the Pacers are just hoping to get him ready for the start of the regular season. As a result, it wouldn't be all that surprising if he remained sidelined in Thursday's game for a third consecutive time.

Pacers forward Solomon Hill ruled out Tuesday

Pacers forward Solomon Hill (ankle) has been ruled out of Tuesday's preseason game against the Pistons, Nate Taylor of the Indianapolis Star reports. The ankle injury will sideline Hill for a second consecutive game, but the Pacers aren't viewing it as an overly worrisome situation just yet. Once healthy, Hill will fill a bench role for the Pacers.
