Magic's Aaron Gordon: Double-doubles again in Monday's win

Gordon contributed 12 points (4-8 FG, 1-1 3Pt, 3-3 FT), 10 rebounds, three assists, one steal, and one block in 28 minutes during the Magic's 117-110 overtime win against the Hawks on Monday. That's two double-doubles in a row, and four in the last six games. Gordon has made the most of his promotion, and he seems set to enjoy a steady flow of minutes for the rest of the year. The 20-year-old sophomore from Arizona has a great feel for the game on both ends, and his athleticism speaks for itself. If he's somehow still available, be sure to snatch him up off the waiver wire.

Gordon produced 11 points (3-11 FG, 0-3 3Pt, 5-6 FT), 13 rebounds (five offensive), four assists, four blocks, and two steals across 34 minutes in Sunday's loss to the Hawks. It's the third double-digit rebound effort in the last five games for Gordon, who continues to thrive in the starting lineup. Over his nine starts this season, Gordon is averaging 10.1 points, 9.6 rebounds, 2.2 assists, and one block across 30.2 minutes.

Magic's Aaron Gordon: Career-high in rebounds versus Spurs

Gordon recorded his second straight double-double with 12 points (6-12 FG), 16 rebounds and a block in 31 minutes during Monday's loss to the Spurs. Coming off a monster performance Sunday, the second-year pro was productive once again, setting a new career-high in boards while leading the Magic in that category for the third consecutive game. Gordon has take well to his starting role and is now averaging 14.3 points, 13 rebounds, 2.3 assists and one block per game over the last three. Gordon's recent performance has all but assured him the starting job moving forward and he is quickly asserting himself as a useful fantasy option.

Magic's Aaron Gordon: Has career night Sunday

Gordon went for 19 points (8-11 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 3-9 FT), 14 rebounds, five assists, and two blocks in 39 minutes during the Magic's 119-114 win over the Celtics on Sunday. Gordon posted career-highs of 14 rebounds and five assists in 39 minutes, and his 19 points matched his career-high as well. This was the breakout performance we've all been waiting for from Gordon, and the 20-year-old with scary athleticism can already do everything except hit three-pointers. Since he is likely to see plenty of minutes for the remainder of the season, Gordon is worth adding across all formats.

Magic's Aaron Gordon: Plays career-high 37 minutes Tuesday

Gordon recorded nine points (3-9 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 2-4 FT), nine rebounds, three assists, and one steal in 37 minutes during the Magic's 107-100 loss to the Bucks on Tuesday. It wasn't an impressive performance, especially in terms of shooting. However, if Gordon is going to see more than 30 minutes per game going forward, he could be a worth a look in most leagues.

Magic's Aaron Gordon: Nears double-double in 24 minutes Monday

Gordon had 10 points (3-8 FG, 0-4 3Pt, 4-4 FT), nine rebounds, and one block in 24 minutes during the Magic's 108-102 loss versus the Grizzlies on Monday. Gordon has received 24 minutes in both games since receiving the promotion into the starting lineup. While he fouled out of last Friday's match-up with the Hornets, Gordon had only one foul in Monday's overtime contest against Orlando. Meanwhile, former Magic starter Channing Frye played only 12 minutes on Monday, as Nikola Vucevic, Tobias Harris, Elfrid Payton, Victor Oladipo, and Evan Fournier each saw 35 or more. Gordon is averaging 20 minutes per game on the season, so he has still been enjoying a slight uptick in playing time during the month. However, he will likely need a few more minutes per game in order to make a serious impact in standard-sized leagues.

Magic's Aaron Gordon: Moving into starting lineup

Gordon will move into the starting lineup Friday against Charlotte, John Denton of OrlandoMagic.com reports. Gordon will make his first start of the season, as coach Scott Skiles shakes things up and moves veteran Channing Frye to the bench. Frye had started every game since Nov. 23, but after a loss to the 76ers earlier this week, the Magic will tweak the starting five in hopes of getting off to a faster start.

Magic's Aaron Gordon: Plays 32 minutes in loss

Gordon tallied seven points (3-7 FG, 0-2 3Pt, 1-1 FT), eight boards, and one assist across 32 minutes in Wednesday's 96-87 loss to the 76ers. Coach Scott Skiles hinted prior to Wednesday's game that a starting lineup change could be afoot for the Magic, leading some to believe that Gordon might get an opportunity with the top unit. Skiles ultimately ended up rolling out the same lineup as the previous game Monday against the Hawks, but Gordon still benefited from enhanced playing time. Though Channing Frye is the de facto starter at power forward, Skiles seems inclined to roll with Gordon in more vital game situations. The 20-year-old is averaging 8.6 points, 6.3 rebounds, and 1.3 assists in 23.7 minutes while shooting 54.2 percent from the floor over the team's last 10 games.

Magic's Aaron Gordon: Scores 18 points off bench in Monday's loss

Gordon scored 18 points (5-9 FG, 1-2 3Pt, 7-8 FT) with seven rebounds and three assists over 27 minutes in Monday's 98-81 loss to the Hawks. Gordon nearly eclipsed his season high of 19 points in one of his best games of the season, though it came in a blowout loss. He's now scored in double figures in three of four games and it starting to flash some of that first-round athleticism. Chances are Gordon isn't available in deep leagues, but he's worth a flyer in 10-team formats while offering nice value in daily contests.

    Magic's Aaron Gordon: Available Thursday

Gordon (ankle) will play Thursday against the Raptors in London, Josh Robbins of the Orlando Sentinel reports. After spraining his right ankle in practice a day earlier, Gordon was back on the court for Thursday's morning shootaround and endured no problems, so he'll be cleared to play without missing any time due to the injury. It's excellent news for the Magic and Gordon, who has been playing some of his best basketball of the season lately with averages of 8.7 points on 55.8 percent shooting, 6.7 rebounds, and 1.3 assists across 24.4 minutes over his past seven contests.
