If the injury risk weren't so serious, Romo would crack the Top 12 ahead of Ben Roethlisberger (who is an injury risk himself). Through two preseason games, the Cowboys offensive line and receiving corps ... OK, fine, Dez Bryant ... has been lights out against the Rams and Dolphins. Dak Prescott has gotten the headlines, but Romo's the one who will be under center when the year starts. If he has time to throw, Romo will find a way to compete for 20-plus Fantasy points more often than not.

Most of the evaluation for Stafford was done after the Lions' Week 2 preseason game. The gist is, if he's going to keep up his passing attempts toward the 38.1 per game he has posted in his past three seasons, falling into big yardage totals is a cinch. It's the touchdown stat that keeps me from moving him higher -- who will be the go-to guy in the end zone? Without Calvin Johnson, it's difficult to see Stafford getting far past that 30-score mark.
