C.J. Anderson only played in seven games in 2016 due to a torn meniscus in his knee, but he's expected to be fine for training camp and will return as the No. 1 running back for the Broncos. He will likely lose some touches to second-year rusher Devontae Booker, but Anderson should still get the majority of work. Before getting hurt, Anderson had four games with at least 10 Fantasy points in a standard league in the seven games he was healthy, with five total touchdowns and three outings with at least 90 total yards. He also had four games with at least three catches, and if you project his stats from seven games over a full season he would have had 251 carries for 999 yards and nine touchdowns and 37 catches for 293 receiving yards and two touchdowns. The problem for Anderson has been staying healthy, and he played through ankle and toe problems in 2015. We still view Anderson as a No. 2 Fantasy running back in seasonal leagues, and he's worth drafting no later than Round 4 in most formats. It's a good idea to handcuff Anderson with Booker later in your draft, but hopefully Anderson is healthy for 16 games and can produce at least 1,200 total yards and eight touchdowns.
