The 49ers selected Redmond (knee) in the third round of the 2016 NFL Draft, 68th overall.
Redmond likely would have been a second-round pick and could have even pushed for the first round if he hadn't torn his ACL during the 2015 season. This therefore looks like a potential bargain for a 49ers team that lacks proven options at corner.
