Alex Henery makes one of two long distance attempts in debut

Lions kicker Alex Henery had an up-and-down performance in his season debut on Sunday against the Jets at MetLife Stadium.

Henery showed off his leg early on with a 51-yard field on the opening drive of the game. However, he missed a 52-yard kick in the fourth quarter. He converted 1 of 2 attempts and added three extra points in a 24-17 victory.
