Bears' Danny Trevathan: Suffers potentially serious injury

Trevathan suffered a potentially serious right knee injury during Sunday's loss to the Titans.

Bears coach John Fox said after the game Sunday that Trevathan's knee injury appears to be serious and will require further testing in the coming days. A long-term absence for Trevathan would be tough for the already-struggling Bears, who have fallen to 2-9 on the season. Christian Jones would potentially start at inside linebacker with Trevathan sidelined.
