You want to know one of the reasons I think we all love this game? We never truly know what is coming. Even when it happens over and over.

We're looking at the second time in six weeks that Marvin Jones will be one of the top waiver wire options. Of course, in between he was one of the most dropped players. Jones' plight fits that of some of these players while others were supposed to be studs and now look like duds. What do we believe moving forward? Let's find out.

Eddie Lacy is the RB2 in Green Bay, but not on your Fantasy team.

There were plenty of excuses to be made for Lacy coming into Week 6 but you'd be hard-pressed to deliver any now. He just faced one of the worst run defenses in the league and was throughly outplayed by James Starks.

Lacy now has one touchdown on the year and has only topped 13 carries once in the last five weeks. Safe to say he's becoming a smaller part of the Packers' game plan and it's easy to see why. Stark looks quicker and is in considerably better shape.

Verdict: Believe it. Speaking on the last point specifically -- Lacy's conditioning has never been great but I'm not sure it's ever been this bad either. He looks like a back that has lost both speed and quickness. He had neither to spare.

I have a hard time seeing how Lacy is much more than a bye week replacement at running back until further notice. He'll probably still get just enough touches to make sure that James Starks doesn't become a reliable fantasy option.

Ronnie Hillman is the best running back in Denver and an RB2 in Fantasy.

Let's face it, nothing about the Broncos offense has been what we expected. With that in mind, it sure looks like Ronnie Hillman is the best back in Denver. More importantly, it looked like Gary Kubiak discovered that himself in Week 6.

Hillman topped 100 yards for the second time in three weeks and saw a team-high 20 carries in the contest. Hillman is the only one running decisively in this offense and should be a solid Fantasy starter moving forward.

Verdict: Believe it. Kind of. I do think Hillman is the best back in Denver and I do agree that the Broncos seem to have realized that. But I would offer some caution on Hillman being your No. 2 running back.

This Browns defense has been shredded on the ground this season, so topping 100 yards against them doesn't exactly put you in exclusive company. Hillman was basically a 3.5 yards-per-attempt back the first five weeks outside of one run. With Peyton Manning's struggles and Hillman's iffy track record he would be a sell-high if he was on my roster.

Gary Barnidge is a must-start over every tight end except Gronk.

Not everything is awful in Cleveland. In fact, they've got one of the biggest surprises in all of Fantasy. Barnidge is a 30-year-old tight end that has more touchdowns in the past month than he had in his entire career prior to 2015.

If that doesn't seem sustainable it's because it's probably not. Still, outside of Rob Gronkowski and Greg Olsen I'm not sure who I feel confident starting at the position.

Verdict: Don't believe it. Did you even read the sentence above? I'm starting Gronk, Olsen, Travis Kelce, Tyler Eifert, Jimmy Graham, Antonio Gates and probably Martellus Bennett over Barnidge. That doesn't mean he isn't a great find and a solid starting tight end.

There are two things you want from your tight end -- targets and touchdowns. Barnidge has provided both so far but I do have concerns over whether that will continue. I still love him as a starting tight end, I just wouldn't go crazy benching the guys you drafted as starters for him.

The Chiefs running game is a Fantasy wasteland without Jamaal Charles.

There was plenty of excitement about picking up Charcandrick West this week and I just didn't get it. The Chiefs situation is not a good one unless Jamaal Charles is there making it good. They have a mediocre offensive line, a game manager at quarterback and limited options in the passing game. There was virtually no chance West would be good in this situation.

Verdict: Believe it. A rotation of West and Knile Davis just isn't going to get it done for a team that figures to be playing from behind for the remainder of the year. In fact, this entire offense could turn into a bad situation if Travis Kelce doesn't quickly get more involved.

If you already spent a waiver wire claim on West there isn't much you can do about it now, but he's nothing more than a what-the-heck flex.

Colin Kaepernick is a great streaming option as long as you play the matchups.

Kaepernick has been one of the most high-variance options at quarterback this season. Against the Steelers, Giants and Ravens Kaepernick has thrown for 937 yards and 6 touchdowns. In his other three games he's been completely useless from a Fantasy perspective.

This is exactly the type of quarterback you're looking for as you navigate through the bye weeks. Kaepernick has shown that he can take advantage of good matchups and his defense is bad enough to keep him chasing the scoreboard against good offenses.

Verdict: Don't believe it. Kaepernick's next five games include the Seahawks (twice), the Rams, the Cardinals and the Falcons. He doesn't have a definitively good matchup until Week 12 (Chicago) when the byes are over. Kaepernick might make a good option then, but only if you're really uncertain at the position.

If you have Kaepernick at the bottom of your roster in deeper leagues or two-QB leagues, I would be looking to sell-high now.
