Sanu can become an unrestricted free agent in March, ESPN.com reports.
Sanu is useful for trick plays, but his inability to get separation from cornerbacks severely limits his value as a receiver. Regardless of where he lands, there isn't much fantasy upside, as it's hard to imagine that any team would view him as anything more than a No. 3 or 4 wide receiver. The Bengals are believed to have interest in retaining Sanu, but No. 2 wideout Marvin Jones -- also an impending free agent -- will likely be the greater priority. Even if Sanu is re-signed and Jones isn't, Sanu would likely be no better than the fourth or fifth option in Cincinnati's passing game.
