Bengals running back Jeremy Hill gained just 21 yards on 12 carries in Sunday's game against the Ravens.

Facing a tough Ravens run defense just a week after he was benched for fumbling, the second-year back averaged just 1.8 yards per carry and was not targeted in the passing game. Some of Hill's ineffectiveness can be chalked up to the matchup and game flow, but he has clearly fallen out of favor with the coaching staff at the moment. He is a much better player than his three yards per carry in 2015 will indicate, and he should still see plenty of usage in Cincinnati's run-heavy offense.

Hill has a home matchup against the Chiefs and their stingy run defense in Week 4.
