Through nine games, Gilmore has 27 tackles, two interceptions, and 15 passes defensed.

Gilmore and rookie Ronald Darby are having quite nice seasons, and currently rank first (Darby has 18) and third in the league in passes defensed. Because both players are performing so well, it's unlikely teams will constantly pick at one or the other, meaning there's little reason Gilmore can't keep up his current production. Darby does have much higher tackle totals, but much of that is because teams occasionally throw at him like he's a susceptible rookie. However, he's proven up to the task and we may see a more even balance in that category over the last seven games as teams realize Darby is one of the more talented rookies out there.
