Buccaneers' Bernard Reedy: Sees increased chance of making roster

Reedy stands to benefit from the Bucs' waiving of fellow wideout Donteea Dye with an injury designation, Greg Auman of the Tampa Bay Times reports.

The 24-year-old receiver's chances of locking down a final roster spot undoubtedly saw a boost with the release of Dye, whom Reedy had been competing with for both a receiver and kickoff returner role. Reedy was impressive on punt returns in Friday's preseason game against the Browns as well and now appears likely to survive final cuts, primarily for his ability to contribute on special teams.
