Nelson notched two carries for 23 yards and two receptions for 16 yards during Monday's victory against the Jets.

Nelson received touches on three consecutive plays during the Cardinals' second touchdown drive, converting two first downs via an 11-yard catch and run on third down and a 14-yard end-around run on the very next down. His number wasn't called again until the play just before the team's fourth and final TD, as he picked up another first down on another end-around dash. While the carries were just the second and third of his career, the second-year wideout was targeted on the sole deep shot taken by Carson Palmer. Nelson was unable to haul in what amounted to a free play due to defensive offsides, but it could portend use of his blazing speed in the aerial assault.
