The Cardinals and Larry Fitzgerald have come to terms on essentially" a two-year deal, general manager Steve Keim said during Arizona's combine press conference on Tuesday. In order to take care of proration from his previous contract, the Cardinals officially locked him up to a four-year contract that voids after two seasons.

Fitzgerald's new deal is expected to create nearly $13 million in cap space for Arizona in 2015, with the hopes of keeping the star wide receiver with the team that drafted him the rest of his career. He's expected to make $11 million over the next two seasons. He'll be 34 when the guarantees of his new contract are played out.

Fitzgerald has already played 11 seasons for the Cardinals, logging 12,151 yards and 89 touchdowns. Fitzgerald caught 63 passes for 784 yards last season, his lowest production since his rookie year, with a career-low two touchdowns. He has not reached 1,000 yards receiving in the past three seasons.
