Cardinals quarterback Carson Palmer completed just 17 passes Sunday in 24 attempts, but four of his strikes went the distance. He finished with 185 yards and a quartet of scores in beating Chicago.
While he did throw one interception, Palmer was excellent. He hit Larry Fitzgerald for three touchdowns and added one to Jaron Brown.
The return of wideout Michael Floyd (fingers) didn't do much (no catches on one target), but it's encouraging that Palmer continues to play well even with one of his starting receivers hindered.
Palmer will head into a Week 3 matchup against the 49ers with seven touchdowns in just two games this season.
